The annual festival rolls into town Sunday and will bring with it snowflakes and rainbows. While typically drawing a crowd of over 2000 LGBTQ + allies, the Whistler Pride & Ski Festival offers endless fun. Some highlights not to miss:
Pride Parade

Whistler Mountain and Whistler Village
Free to participate. All ages event.
A sight to behold and a signature moment of the Whistler Pride and Ski Festival, waving colour and excitement races down the mountain and marches through the village in celebration of diversity and inclusivity. Beginning from Mid Station on Whistler Mountain at 3:30pm, skiers in colourful and creative outfits hoist aloft the larger-than-life Pride flag while slaloming down the mountain to the village where anyone is welcome to join with Parade Grand Marshal Lady Bunny as she leads a march through the Village village to end at the Whistler Conference Centre Pride Festival where the festival’s Pride T-Dance offers free admission until 5:30pm. Everyone welcome!
Charity Ski Race

GMC Race Centre – Blackcomb Mountain
$5 recommended donation (cash or credit cards accepted)
Show us your sweet skiing or boarding moves as you zoom down the GMC Race Course on Blackcomb to help raise money for A Loving Spoonful. No race experience necessary. Skiers and snowboarders welcome. Run as many times as you feel like donating. Winners for fastest, slowest, and for closest to predicted time.

CABN at the Aava Whistler Hotel (4005 Whistler Way)
Unwind and socialize at the OFFICIAL FESTIVAL APRÈS at the host hotel. Enjoy a warm environment and tasty beverages made with PRIDE by our friendly festival staff! As the week progresses and more guests arrive these events pick up steam until the weekend where the crowds are so big that the Après is simply a warm-up preparing for the big T-DANCES that follow at the conference centre.
